Teac has announced the launch of its new line of External 1.8-Inch Mobile USB 2.0 Hard Disk Drives in 20GB, 40GB and 60GB capacities.

Suited to a mobile professional, Teac 1.8 inch external hard disk drives are small enough to fit your
shirt pocket and large enough in capacity to hold lots of information. The Teac 1.8-Inch Hard Drive is bus-powered with no external power source required and represents a convenient way to store files, pictures or MP3 files.

Teac's 1.8-Inch Mobile Hard Disk Drives are available in USB 2.0 for now.

Teac also offers 2.5-inch External Hard Drive solutions in 40GB, 60GB, 80GB and 100GB capacities in USB2.0, and 3.5-inch External Hard Drive solutions in 40GB, 80GB, 120GB, 160GB, 200GB, 250GB, 300GB and 400GB capacities. The 3.5-inch hard drives are available in both USB2.0 and USB2.0 / Firewire formats.

The Teac External Hard Disk drive products feature all-aluminum case designs, which maximize heat dissipation and keep the hard disk drive running much cooler for optimum performance.

The 1.8-Inch USB 2.0 Hard Disk Drives, HD1U/KIT Series, TEAC 2.5" Slim Mobile USB2.0 Hard Disk Drives, HD2U/KIT Series, and Teac's 3.5" drives, HDU/KIT Series are all available beginning this December.
