14 DAY TRIAL // The teams at developer Cryptic and publisher Perfect World are launching a new set of screenshots and a trailer for their Neverwinter MMO, revealing the new devil enemies that players will have to face.
The lore of the game talks about a fortress called Helm’s Hold, where some victims of the Spellplague tried to find sanctuary after the catastrophic event.
Cryptic says on the official blog that, “The victims soon discovered the town was under the control of a devil-worshipping cult led by their prophet, a traitorous succubus called Rohini.”
Gamers will have to battle the devils, in their many incarnations, in order to get to their leader and eliminate the foul presence in Helm’s Hold.
Neverwinter will go into open beta on April 30 and all those who are Founders or Heroes are set to get early access to the MMO.
