It appears that there are some new and exciting things coming to Neverwinter this year, the most important of which being the Elemental Evil module and the introduction of the Paladin.

Neverwinter is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game based on Wizards of the Coast's Dungeons & Dragons franchise, so it's not a big surprise that Dungeons & Dragons Online and Neverwinter get the same elemental flavor added to them in 2015.

The Elemental Evil module is going to introduce some significant changes, the most important of which being the increase of the level cap from 60 to 70 and a brand new playable class, the valiant Paladin.

The increase of the level cap will translate into more skills, feats and quests for all eight classes, and there will also be numerous other additions to the free-to-play MMO.

Developer Cryptic has also announced that future updates this year will introduce the guild housing Strongholds system, and the arrival of new popular Dungeons & Dragons characters.

Furthermore, publisher Perfect World Entertainment intends to launch a closed beta test on the Xbox One computer entertainment system from Microsoft this February, with Neverwinter scheduled for full release sometime later in 2015, as a free-to-play game for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
