NetworkManager, a program that works as network connection manager for most RPM and Debian-based distributions, is now at version 0.9.8.8.

NetworkManager 0.9.8.8 is now a stable release, but the developers have only incorporated a few changes, which is actually an improvement over the previous build.

According to the changelog, fixes have been implemented for the BlueZ code, a few memory leak fixes have been corrected, and minor docs fixes have been added.

As the numbering of NetworkManager suggests, the 1.0 version is not very far, but the developers will still need to go through a few more releases in order to get to it.

Check out the official changelog for a complete list of new features and updates, as well as changes added in previous versions. Download NetworkManager 0.9.8.8 right now from Softpedia.
