The latest version of Network Security Toolkit can be downloaded from Softpedia

Network Security Toolkit, a bootable ISO live CD based on Fedora Linux, designed to provide easy access to best-of-breed Open Source Network Security Applications that should run on most x86 platforms, is now at version 18-4509.

The distribution is based on Fedora 18 operating system and is using Linux kernel 3.8.6-203.fc18, and according to the developers, it's the most stable release so far.

“Significant effort has been devoted to integrate "systemd" service control support with all network services applications thus providing enhanced management and flexibility when using the NST WUI,” reads the official announcement.

Highlights of Network Security Toolkit 18-4509:

• A new NST script called "nstipconf" has been added. This can be used to setup IPv4 Address and stealth network configurations; • Many NST WUI enhancements have been implemented; • A new system SCSI storage device information page has been implemented; • A Query Update Rate Monitor has been added.
