14 DAY TRIAL // Elsevier Inc. has turned Netter's Anatomy Atlas into an iPad app with full-color anatomic illustrations that allow users focus on the need-to-know anatomy specific to a course or area of specialty and interest choosing from over 500 illustrated plates.
Those who are interested in human anatomy can now download a simple iPad app and use Dr. Netter's most famous illustrations of human anatomy as their intuitive and interactive study guide.
There are 531 Netter Plates to choose from, all available in the 5th edition of the famous Atlas of Human Anatomy, illustrated by master medical illustrator Frank H. Netter, MD.
The lead editor of the Netter Atlas of Human Anatomy, 5th edition, John T. Hansen, explains the benefits of the app, saying, "Imagine carrying an interactive authoritative guide on human anatomy wherever you go that allows you to study, quiz yourself and take notes on the fly!"

Charles describes the app as being “rooted” in their deep customer insight research.

Netter's Anatomy Atlas for iPad costs $89.99 / 69,99 € but there’s also a free version which includes a 10-Plate sample from the 5th edition Atlas of Human Anatomy, all enhanced with quizzing and customization features.
