A new flavor of the popular Netflix for Android mobile application is now available for download from the Android Market, with support for more devices than before.
Currently available for download as version 1.7.0, Netflix for Android now provides users with better audio/video syncing for tablets and phones.
Moreover, the new flavor of
the mobile application brings along software volume controls for tablet users and fixes an issue with split pictures, as well as flickering issues on select tablets.
On top of that, it delivers Facebook sharing for all devices running under the Android platform in Latin America, Canada, the UK and Ireland.
Users who would like to take advantage of what the new application release can offer to them should know that it runs only on devices powered by Android 2.2 or newer.
