A number of people updating to the new Netflix experience have discovered that the latest version of the app has bugs affecting the ability to put video on a big-screen TV.
Netflix acknowledged the issue saying only a few people were affected, though Twitter and Apple’s forums would have you believe otherwise.
According to TechCrunch, there was even a temporary solution suggested by someone at a certain point: turn AirPlay off to force video to output to the HDMI adapter.
To cut a long story short, Netflix appears to have already fixed the problem, as the company has just released a new version of the iOS app with “bug fixes.”
Would it kill them to mention whether or not this is the much anticipated fix?
