Netflix ISP Report Is Out – Comcast and Verizon Speeds Are Down

Two major US ISPs are giving less than adequate Internet speeds

The latest Netflix ISP speed report reveals some interesting things, as connection speeds register massive drops for two major US players.

According to information from the streaming company, Comcast and Verizon FiOS have registered dropping speeds over the past four months.

Google Fiber, the high-speed Internet service from Google, continues to lead the charts with the best performance.

Netflix top execs still don’t believe that telecommunications companies have anything against them and are affecting their users’ speeds, despite many claiming that this is exactly what’s happening.

Of course, there could be another explanation for why download speeds are dropping according to Netflix, and that’s the change in measurement technique implemented back in October 2013.

Also, the numbers given out by Netflix only represent an overall average and not the numbers that users might get in their own homes.
