Following in the footsteps of Hulu with its Super HD update, Netflix is now offering its own HD streaming service for iOS 7 customers, along with AirPlay support.
iOS 7 users can beam HD content to their big-screen TV, as long as they turn off AirPlay mirroring.
In addition to these enhancements, Netflix 5.0 for iPhone and iPad offers playback optimizations and stability improvements.
For those who don’t care much about the HD / AirPlay bit, Netflix still works well on iOS 6 (iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch 3G, 4G, 5G, and iPad).
