Watching TV episodes and movies on your Windows 8 computer has never been easier, as the official Netflix app has just landed in the Windows Store.

The app is obviously available for free and can be installed by any Windows 8 early adopter right now. Just like any other Modern App, it places a tile in the Start Screen and lets you launch it with just a few clicks.

A user account is still required and sadly, you are not allowed to register for a new account straight from the app, which means that you still have to go back to your browser and load the official Netflix webpage.

What’s more, Netflix is still restricted in several countries around the globe, but hopefully the service will be released in new regions in the near future.
