While Mozilla and Chrome are yet to port their browsers to Windows 8, ContentWatch is getting ready to bring its popular iOS app called Net Nanny on Microsoft’s new platform.

According to a report published by Tablet PC Review, the company is now working on a Windows build of its app that would incorporate both the existing features, such as web filters, profanity protection and user profile support, and new options supposed to make the most of Windows 8.

The upcoming app will be designed to work in both Metro and desktop modes, a company official told the source, and will feature Windows 8 integration, most likely for the Share and Search Charms.

A Windows RT version may also follow very soon, but this separate project depends on market need, a ContentWatch representative explained.
