Fancy a YouTube bar? Then you will have to wait no more as the video-sharing website has partnered up with the multinational food and beverage company for an advertising campaign which will temporarily rebrand its KitKat bar, much to the delight of those who enjoy their choccie treats while scrolling through YouTube videos.

To express their gratitude for Google’s decision to name its 4.4 Android version KitKat, in their attempt to provide a confectionery-themed code name for each update, Nestle decided to start a rebranding campaign and rename its famous chocolate bar YouTube, even if the makeover is intended for a short period of time.

Soon enough, the chocolate-covered wafer biscuit bar will resume its name, but you can still try to grab one of the 600,000 samples which will be put on sale in the UK, for posterity’s sake. Unless you want to pay a bigger price for them on eBay once the campaign is over.

What’s more, the company unveiled a unique feature specially designed for mobile users who can look for KitKat YouTube my break on their phone app and they will be directed to a playlist compiled by Kit Kat and which contains a curated list of trending videos updated on a daily basis.

People are encouraged to take a break from whatever they are doing and enjoy their KitKats coming in personalized wrapping while watching the four YouTube viral clips of the day.

Fiona Kendrick, the chief executive and chairman at Nestlé UK & Ireland, said, "As KitKat celebrates its 80th anniversary and YouTube turns 10 this year, it is really exciting to be taking the partnership to a new phase."

In other words, it’s a win-win marketing campaign for both companies, as the small gimmick is prone to bring some decent earnings for the food manufacturer, given that everyone will rush to buy the limited-edition choco bars.

Or will they? Not everyone is excited about the newly launched partnership. "One evil corporate giant works with another. How surprising," says one user who doesn't seem to be a fun of either of the enterprises. Well, this can only mean one thing: more chances for the KitKat enthusiasts to get their hands on those special edition goodies.
