One of the attractions at IFA 2005 was the presentation of the next version of Nero's burning tool, Nero 7, which is due to launch in the second week of October.
Until then, the company is encouraging users to choose Nero 6 Reloaded.
On the company's
official site there are not many details about Nero 7 and a demo version can be released only after the official launching takes place.
But Nero AG's plans with Nero 7 are threatened by a version of this suite, which is already available on the Internet. And to make matters even worse, the new version comes on two CDs and is touted as being the final one.
Out of the two CDs, one contains the programs and the other is for tutorials.
Nero 7 does more than just to burn CDs and DVDs, the application being also capable to work with Blu-Ray and HD-DVD discs.
