Well, not really. It fires foam darts at whatever you aim it at. It is, after all, a remote-controlled robot.
The use of multiple legs provides the Combat Creature with a higher degree of mobility.
Maybe they aren't all that fast, but they do have the ability to climb stairs and go pretty much everywhere, unlike wheels and tank treads.
A barrel-fed blaster fires the projectiles and can be adjusted from afar (it has a full 360 degree sweep).
The darts won't go through walls, or even a shirt, but they'll do fine for an afternoon kid's party if nothing else.
