Ozone could have built its newest mouse with jagged lines and a car-inspired upper body, but instead, it chose to stick to the tried-and-true design elements that mice have always sported, while maximizing the worth of the insides.

The result was the Neon Mouse, the "ultimate" laser mouse that is fully customizable, which means that the sensitivity of the laser sensor is not the only thing that can be adjusted.

Granted, the DPI can be adjusted easily enough, in steps of 800 DPI, 1,800 DPI, 3,500 DPI and the maximum 6,400 DPI.

But it's also possible to adjust the polling and response rate, and there are plenty of ways to control and program the 8 buttons as well.

Five different profiles can be stored in fact, thanks to the 128 Kb of built-in memory.

"6400 DPI laser sensor, 8 buttons in 5 independent profiles… Yes, I just love the new mouse from Ozone.," said Choi "DanDy" In-kyu, marketing vice president of Ozone.

"Neon allows me to be concentrate on my game, not having to worry if my equipment will fail me in the middle of the action. As a professional gamer I need not just the good but the best, that's why Neon is my choice."

The Ozone Neon is an ambidextrous mouse (pretty self-explanatory that one) and also benefits from side rubber pads and an anti-slip rubber material (the top surface is completely coated in it).

Finally, the LED located within the mouse can be colored in one of four hues. We could go as far as to say that there are, or will be, four Ozone Neon mice on sale: red, blue, white and black (LED-less as it were).

The price of the Ozone Neon ambidextrous gaming mouse is €49.99, which translates into $67.58, although it's more likely that the US price will be of $49.99 instead (hopefully).
