Today, people usually want touchscreen phones with large displays and a wide range of features, but there might be some users who want touchscreen phones with small displays too. Well, for the latter, a new and tiny handset has recently made its way on the market. Named "Latte Neon 7", the device we're talking about measures 95 x 42 x 11 millimeters and comes with what is probably the
smallest touchscreen display to be integrated into a mobile phone (or among the smallest, that's for sure).

The touchscreen of Neon 7 is only a 1.9 inch one that supports up to 65K colors, a 172 x 220 pixel resolution and handwriting recognition. The rest of the features packed in the unusual phone are the ones of an entry-level device and include: tri-band GSM connectivity (850 / 1800 / 1900 MHz), stereo Bluetooth, a heat-sensitive navigation pad, a 1.3 Megapixel camera with video recording, MP3 and MPEG-4 player, email, WAP support, speakerphone, image editor, organizer, pre-installed games and so on. Moreover, Neon 7 comes with a "talking menu" and "intelligent call alert" which allow users to find out who is calling them by loudly informing them on the caller numbers.

Neon 7 can be bought from various online stores (ThinkGeek, for example), unlocked, for prices below $200. Note that the phone cannot be used outside the US and it only works on the networks of AT&T and T-Mobile. Aside from this, the handset comes with a 1GB memory card, a USB cable and 2 styluses.

A couple more things worth-mentioning would be that Neon 7 is produced by Latte Communications, quite a new American company based in Silicon Valley, California and besides other mobile phones with names like "BOOM", "Slim 41F" or "Chrome 401", Latte also produces portable music players and Bluetooth headsets.
