NeoGeo Titles Get Price Cuts on PS3 and PSP Until September 25

SNK Playmore has confirmed that it’s now running a special End of Summer Sale for its NeoGeo titles on the PlayStation Store for PS3 and PSP platforms, slashing the prices on a variety of classic titles until the end of September.

The NeoGeo platform gave birth to a wide array of arcade hits, and most of them found their way onto current consoles in the form of remastered experiences.

Now, many of the NeoGeo titles for the PS3 and PSP have seen their prices slashed as part of a special End of Summer Sale.

“Just because the school year has started doesn't mean that the summer fun should end. SNK Playmore is offering select NeoGeo Station titles on PS3 and PSP for half the original price. Pass those long afterschool afternoons by equipping your Rocket Launcher and blasting through waves of enemy forces in Metal Slug, or take to the streets and accept all challengers who dare oppose you in The King Of Fighters.”

NeoGeo titles for the PlayStation 3 will be discounted from their current $8.99 (around €7.15) price tags to just $4.49 (€3.57), while those for the PSP will see their prices drop from $6.99 (€5.32) to $3.49 (€2.77). If you want to save money, you can get a 10-game Bundle Pack for the PS3 for just $39.99 (€31.84).

The End of Summer Sale will last until September 25 in North America and it seems that it won’t be made available in other territories like Europe or Asia, at least for now.
