'Loose' presents a new image of Furtado, with more R&B influences that ever as it is exclusively produced by Timbaland, who brings to it his own special sound. The singles from it are already in all major British and American tops. 'Maneater' was released in the UK and topped between the first five positions for a couple of weeks now. For the US, Nelly chose 'Promiscuous' as a single and it rapidly make it on the number one in all charts.

The album is new in every sense of the word and it marks a clear distance from her 2003 'Folklore' that sold so poorly. 'Loose' is a mixture of tracks of different genres, from Latino to R&B, hip-hop and pop-rock.

The Canadian artist was present at the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto where she performed live 'Promiscuous', featuring Timbaland and raising the entire audience on their feet. Unfortunately, Nelly is continuously receiving mail from unsatisfied fans that are asking her to return to her old days, when she sang hits such as 'I'm Like a Bird'.
