Neil Young against President's Bush Political Conduct in Iraq

Neil Young has recently become part of the large family protesting against George W Bush's attitude regarding hostilities in Iraq. "Living in War" is a 10-track new album, recorded in studios in a few days only. Young managed to take everybody by surprise, coming out with this album in three days. But this is a "usual" kind of surprise coming from the old rock star, his spokesman Bill Bentley said.

"Living with War" was done with the help of a "power trio", including electric guitar, bass and drums, plus a trumpet and a choir of 100 members. So we might expect something rather worked upon, even if the recording time was that short.
If we add to this the impact it is expected to have upon American politics at which it is directed, we might say Neil Young is going to hit music industry with his latest creation.

Many other stars held performances or released albums to fight through music against an illogical, futile kind of war.
Leaving aside the '60s revolutionary age, to which actually Young draws a parallel, names like Steve Earle or The Rolling Stones are between the ones to musically criticize Bush's conduct of the Iraqi war.

Neil Young says about his own work that it can be seen as a combination of Bob Dylan's usual heavy-hitting protests and the sound of the modern era we live in. Therefore, his album could be categorized as a "metal folk" one, weird description unless you fully understand the context.

There are confirmations that the album also includes a song titled "Let's Impeach the President". But until we get the chance to listen to it, this is about all the info we got.
