Video game publisher Electronic Arts and the developers at EA Black Box have announced that their upcoming racing game Need for Speed: The Run is getting a Limited Edition which is set to include three of the fastest and best-looking cars in the world.

The new edition of the game is now available for pre-order and gives gamers access to the Lamborghini Aventador, Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and the Porsche 911 Carrera S.

The Lamborghini Aventador is best known for being one of the most powerful cars in the world while also showing the unique design ideas of the company.

The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is the most technologically advanced model in the line ever built while the all new Porsche Carrera S model is one of the most eagerly awaited models of the new year.

Alongside the new cars, the Limited Edition package of Need for Speed: The Run is set to include five exclusive race challenges, which will allow gamers who buy it to show off their skills on all new tracks that no one else has access to.

The concept behind The Run is that players get into one of the most contested underground races in North America, which takes them from San Francisco to New York, going through the desert, through urban landscapes and high speed roads.

The main character does not only have to worry about beating other racers in order to get the final 25 million dollars prize in New York but also about keeping both the police and some shady characters off his back.

One unique element introduced in The Run is that some sequences will take place outside of the car, with the player using Quick Time Events to escape pursuers and get to a new vehicle so that he can continue his journey.

Need for Speed: The Run will be launched on November 15 of this year.
