A bunch of new details about Need for Speed: Rivals have appeared online, confirming that the game's next-gen versions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will use the PlayStation 4's Share button to post videos, as well as the Xbox One's new Kinect sensor.

NFS: Rivals is the next installment in the racing series, and both publisher EA and developer Ghost Games have released a few details about it.

Now, thanks to a leaked copy of Game Informer magazine via NeoGAF, new details have surfaced.

The game has full career paths for both Cops and Racers, and players can choose to wager speed points on their games.

There's a variable weather system that changes globally, not race to race, and features things like snow, hail, fog, or dust storms.

The next-gen editions of the game will use the Share button on the PlayStation 4 controller to post videos, as well as the Xbox One's Kinect, although exact use wasn't mentioned.

EA is expected to share official details about NFS: Rivals next week, at E3 2013.
