Need for Speed: Rivals has just received its official list of PC system requirements, confirming the minimum and recommended specifications that a computer must meet to run the new racing game.

Need for Speed games in recent years haven't exactly lived up to the franchise's pedigree, but with NFS: Rivals, EA has formed a brand new studio called Ghost Games to oversee the series throughout the next few years and take it into fresh directions.

After checking out quite a few things about the new title over the past few months, fans can now admire the minimum and recommended system requirements for the upcoming racing game, so check out the list below, via the official website.

MINIMUM System Requirements  OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 CPU: Intel 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo, AMD 2.6 GHz Athlon X2 RAM: At least 4 GB DISC DRIVE: CD/DVD ROM drive required for installation only HARD DRIVE: At least 30 GB of free space VIDEO: AMD Radeon 3870 512Mb or better, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512 Mb or better, Intel HD 4000 integrated 512Mb or better DIRECTX: DirectX 10.1 compatible INPUT: Keyboard and mouse ONLINE CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS: 512 Kbps or faster internet connection
