During Electronic Arts' Gamescom 2013 press conference in Cologne, Germany, Need for Speed: Rivals received a brand new gameplay video introducing a new specialization for players who control cops – Undercover – which joins Enforcer and Patrol.

NFS: Rivals is set to deliver a brand new racing experience and, even if it focuses on the same cop vs. racer conflict, it's going to introduce lots of new features and aspects.

One of them are specializations that allow players who control cops, for example, to specialize in categories like Enforcer, Patrol, or Undercover, the last of which gives them control of an unmarked car and tasks them with shutting down races from within.

The new mechanic is detailed in the short but sweet gameplay video above, so check it out.

NFS: Rivals is out for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, as well as for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this fall.
