The exciting Need for Speed franchise comes on mobile phones this autumn, as Electronic Arts announced the release of the new Need for Speed ProStreet for mobiles, on October 26th in Europe and on October 30th in North America. Besides the versions for all the important gaming platforms (including PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Wii or PSP), Need for Speed ProStreet has a version specially created for mobile devices, enabling any mobile phone owner to enjoy the excitement of racing. And, for the first time in the game's history, customers who buy the mobile title will be able to uncover, during gameplay, rewards to help them in the console version.

Travis Boatman, Vice President of Worldwide Studios at EA Mobile, said: "We are very excited to release another great mobile version of this racing franchise that is so popular with our fans. Need for Speed ProStreet delivers the adrenaline-fueled racing and drifting that you've come to expect from the Need For Speed franchise, while offering accessible gameplay and controls designed specifically for mobile phones."

Need for Speed ProStreet will put the players into one of the 16 high performance cars to check out cool street racing locations. Nitrous boosts can be used to get more speed and leave behind the other competitors. As on other Need for Speed games, race winners earn money to upgrade their cars and make them more competitive at the Tuner Shop or even to buy a new ride if they don't like the old one anymore.

After the announced releasing dates, Need for Speed ProStreet will be available for purchase and download via most of the important mobile operators from Europe and North America. So all the Need for Speed fans out there that wished for the game to come on mobile phones can finally be happy.
