Console gameplay at its best

The game follows Ryan Cooper's career as a legal street racer. Ryan is busy

making a name for himself at one of the events when this hot-shot street racer, Ryo Watanabe, shows up and starts dissing him. Saying stuff like they must have lowered the standards letting guys like Ryan in on the racing guarantees Ryo a good a** kicking at the end of the game. Yes, as the urban graffiti will also reveal, Ryo is the one you must meet again for the final showdown, should you win the huge number of events lying ahead. Not much of a story, if we're going to look back on the series, but yeah, I guess it qualifies as one.

ProStreet is the first NFS game that takes the series to a much higher level of racing, adding driving simulation elements to the already appealing arcade-ish ones which the series is well known for. In fact, as EA themselves put it, NFS ProStreet brings gamers together for "competing at the highest level of street racing".

2. Keep on Wheelin' - 5 points
Wheelie 50 or more feet in a Wheelie Competition.
3. 8 Player Race - 10 points
Competed in an online multiplayer race against 7 human opponents.
4. Friction Fever - 10 points
Catch Friction Fever by playing an Online Grip race with an infected player.
5. Gear Strain - 10 points
Catch the Gear Strain by playing an Online Drag race with an infected player.
6. Horsepower Challenge - 10 points
Increase your Car's HP by 25. Brought to you by K&N - THE Performance Air Filter.
7. Manual Transmission - 10 points
Won 5 times in a non-Drag event using Manual Transmission.
8. Perfect Tire Grip - 10 points
Awarded for having maximum tire grip in drag staging.
9. Performance Upgrade - 10 points
Modify a Tier 1 car into a Tier 3 car. Brought to you by K&N - The Original High-Flow Air Filter.
10. Race Day Victory - 10 points
Awarded for winning a Career Race Day.
11. Share a Blueprint - 10 points
Successfully share a Blueprint with another player. 10
12. Blueprint Apprentice - 15 points
Awarded when your Blueprint has been shared 5 times.
13. Clutch - 15 points
Won 5 times in a Drag event using Clutch.
14. Community Race Day 1 - 15 points
Awarded for participating in the Community Race Day 1.
15. Community Race Day 2 - 15 points
Awarded for participating in the Community Race Day 2
16. Domination - 15 points
Awarded for dominating a Career Race Day.
17. Drag Master - 15 points
Awarded for unlocking the Rogue Speed Org in Career.
18. Drift Master - 15 points
Awarded for unlocking the Noise Bomb Org in Career.
19. Grip Master - 15 points
Awarded for unlocking the GEffect Org in Career.
20. Paparazzi - 15 points
Awarded when you upload your car photo to NeedforSpeed.com.
21. Race Day Coordinator - 15 points
Awarded when your Race Day has been shared 5 times.
22. Race Day Leader - 15 points
Rank 1st on the leaderboard for a shared Race Day. Leaderboard must have at least 3 players.
