The much talked about Need for Speed movie will star Dominic Cooper, best known for his work in the HBO series The Wire and for his appearance in Captain America, and Imogen Poots, the actress that had her breakout role in 28 Weeks Later.Information from Variety shows that Dominic Cooper will play the role of an driver who once raced in NASCAR and has since then moved on to rebuilding and modifying supercars.
Poots will be an exotic car dealer that sometime works with him.
The lead role in the Need for Speed movie has been confirmed as belonging to Aaron Paul, one of the stars of the Breaking Bad television series.
Fans of the series are at the moment able to play Need for Speed: Most Wanted, the Criterion made open world racing game that features adrenaline boosting events and some nice social integration.
The movie will open in February 2014.
