Aaron Paul and Michael Keaton are already acting out scenes from the new film

The Need for Speed movie has officially entered actual production, as a local Macon, Georgia station has reported on sections of the road that are closed off for filming.

Electronic Arts' Need for Speed game has been around for many years across various console generations, but only now is it actually going to receive a movie adaptation.

The film stars Breaking Bad co-star Aaron Paul, not to mention various other great actors like Michael Keaton, joined by Imogen Poots, Dominic Cooper, or Kid Cudi.

The movie received a March 14, 2014 release date and now filming has officially begun in Macon, Georgia, at least according to local TV station 13wmaz, that detailed the various road blocks set up by the production team to film shots for the title.

It's unclear in which other spots filming will take place, but you can expect to hear a lot more about the Need for Speed movie soon enough.
