14 DAY TRIAL // The Nebraska Judicial System has launched an iOS application which gives users the ability to search most District and all County Court hearing schedules to find day, time and location information. The app is now available from the iTunes App Store for free download and is advertised as being aimed at the iPhone and iPad, although it also supports the iPod touch.
In addition to offering the ability to search the majority of District and County Court hearing schedules, the Nebraska Court Calendar app features a search function which allows to filter results either by name or date, while previous search results can be re-viewed using a History option.
Users are promised to get the most accurate information available, as hearing schedules are pulled in real time from the court database. According to the Nebraska Judicial System, the Nebraska Court Calendar app offers these main benefits:

“We are very pleased with the continued success of the technology services offered through the Judicial Branch,” said Chief Justice Mike Heavican. “We look forward to offering court applications in the most convenient way possible.”
According to The Nebraska Judicial System, the Nebraska Court Calendar is also available online as part of a suite of web-based services offered by the Judicial Branch.
Developed by NICUSA, the Nebraska Court Calendar app is designed for both iPhone and iPad, but works with all iOS portables, which includes the iPod touch, according to the list of requirements.
The software is supported in English only, and requires iOS 3.2 or later. Since first-generation handsets can only go up to iOS 3.1.3, the original iPhone, and early-generation iPod touches are not supported.
