A new report has emerged stating that Apple developers have entered the final testing phase with near-complete builds of OS X Mountain Lion, as the Cupertino, California-based giant is gearing up to release the software.

According to tapscape, “Developers have received near-final builds of Apple’s latest operating system for Macs and Apple is hiring more support employees,” the latter tidbit being rather old, but well within context.

OS X version 10.8 dubbed Mountain Lion was already scheduled for a late-summer release. However, the people who are familiar with the software indicate that development is wrapping up nicely. Apple’s WWDC 12 keynote address may well be the time and place to launch the software officially.
