Navigation software developer Navigon AG has released a new product for high-end navigation devices like the Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX N100 that provides the user with both features and added functionality.

The new MobileNavigator Premium makes navigation easier with Superior route guidance that allows users to create their own itinerary by entering several destinations at once.

Apart from that, MN Premium assists the user in complex traffic situations with the help of its traffic jam avoidance function, provides an alternate route in the case of a congestion alert, shows speed signs, monitors speed continuously and alerts the drivers with visual and acoustic warnings when they exceed the permitted speed limit, displays road signs (signpost text) for clearer and easier navigation and also features voice command so that users can save destinations and start navigation by voice command.

The multitude of features differentiates the software from other navigational products and it has an easy to use interface that allows the user to enter a destination without great effort.

"MN Premium redefines the navigation experience providing customers the security, productivity and luxury features they expect from the leading navigation software provider," said Andreas Hecht, general manager of the Americas for NAVIGON. "It offers a superb, very rich, and easy to use consumer experience for manufacturers who want to make a statement in the maturing portable navigation market, and help them differentiate and innovate in this category."
