The GNOME developers that are involved in the development process of the Nautilus (Files) file manager of the GNOME desktop environment, announced a few days ago that version 3.11.3 is ready for download and testing from the usual places.

Nautilus 3.11.3 is quite a small release that support Tracker 0.18, uses the Search Bar style for the query editor, standardizes the About, Help and Quit menu items for the App Menu, and no longer performs deep counts on regular files.

Moreover, Nautilus 3.11.3 fixes overlapping filenames issues that occurred on hover in the canvas view, fixes a crash that occurred when changing the cache of the symlinks, and removes the Enter Location entry from the App Menu. More details can be found in the official raw changelog.

Download Nautilus 3.11.3 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development release and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended to be used for testing purposes only.
