Neil Druckmann, the creative director working on The Last of Us for the PlayStation 4 at Naughty Dog, says that the coming title is a great way of showing fans of the console what the team can do with the new features and the increased hardware power.

He tells Edge that, “If you look at Uncharted 1 and then look at Uncharted 3 or The Last Of Us, you’ll see a pretty big difference as we have a better understanding of the hardware and how to build assets for it.”

The developer says that his company is just getting started when it comes to the PlayStation 4 and will find new and interesting ways of using the next-gen platform.

The Last of Us will include the core game with improved graphics, running at 60 frames per second and 1080p, as well as the Left Behind downloadable content and a new commentary linked to all the cutscenes.

At the same time, Naughty Dog is working on a new Uncharted title for the PlayStation 4, but the studio has refused to offer any sort of information on it.

A secret project for the Sony console is also being created and might be revealed at E3 2014.
