Christophe Balestra and Evan Wells, the co-presidents of Naughty Dog, believe that the unique game development process at the company will help it with the transition to the PlayStation 4 as a gaming platform.

Speaking to Eurogamer, the executives state, “In terms of our art, we always create our assets at a higher resolution than what you see in-game. A lot of our pipelines are already ready to move to something superior to the PS3. But it’s scary.”

The team has already admitted mistakes when making the move from the PlayStation 2 to 3.

At the moment, the developer is working on The Last of Us, a post-apocalyptic title that will launch in May, and they probably also have a dedicated PlayStation 4 title set to be revealed as soon as the Sony home console is officially launched.
