Oscar nominated young and talented actress is currently in the final phase of negotiations with Columbia Pictures for the leading role in the historical movie 'The Other Boleyn Girl', adapted from the novel of Philippa Gregory with the same name.

Natalie is to star next to Eric Bana from Spielberg's 'Munich'. The film will be produced by debutant TV producer Justin Chadwick, who chose this project as his starting point in cinematography, and it will focus around the story of the two Boleyn sisters that struggle and fight for the favor (and the bed) of King Henry VIII, the British 16th century king that made it into history especially for his numerous wives and for the way he got rid of them.

Natalie Portman is known in Hollywood for her part as Mathilda in 'Leon' (next to Jean Reno), as Padme Amidala in 'Star Wars', Episode I, II and III, as Sara in 'Cold Mountain' and, more recently, as Evey Hammond from 'V for Vendetta'.
