Natalie Portman and the Spanish Inquisition

The 24-year-old Israeli actress will join Spanish actor Javier Bardem in Goya's Ghosts

Natalie Portman is in negotiations to join Spanish actor Javier Bardem in a planned Milos Forman biopic about artist Francisco De Goya, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Scandinavian actor Stellan Skarsgard will play Goya in the movie based on a script co-written by Jean-Claude Carrière and Milos Forman.

The Star Wars actress will play the part of Alicia in the film which tells the story of the last years of the Spanish Inquisition, when Goya's muse was falsely accused of heresy.

Javier Bardem will play sinister monk Brother Lorenzo.

Natalie Portman is also slated to play in Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, directed by Zach Helm.
