Actress Natalie Portman confessed she loves being skinhead so much, that she's thinking of keeping this look for a while. Portman, who was forced to shave her head for the role of a freedom fighter Evey Hammond in the film adaption of Alan Moore's "V for Vendetta", said she's feeling strong for the first time in her life.

She confessed: "Being a really small girl, I've never felt threatening but now, for the first time, I feel tough. People react to me differently and I love that. People will think I'm a neo-Nazi or a cancer victim or a lesbian."

However, the sexy actress said she was followed by fans who mistook her for Irish singer Sinead O'Connor.

A source close to the star confessed: "When she first shaved her head Natalie was constantly being mistaken for Sinead O'Connor. She thinks it's hilarious and loves it".

While pursuing her bachelor's degree in psychology at Harvard, Natalie Portman appeared in the Star Wars prequel trilogy of movies, which were filmed during her summer break from university.

Among Star Wars fans she is known for playing the role of Padmé Amidala in The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and the Revenge of the Sith.

In 2003 Natalie had a small role as a young war widow in the Oscar winning movie Cold Mountain. That was followed in 2004 by starring roles in the successful independent movies Garden State and Closer, winning a Supporting Actress Golden Globe for her role as Alice in Closer. She was also nominated for a Supporting Actress Oscar for the same role.
