Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 Available for Purchase This March

- Unleash the force and let the ninja in you kick some arse

By: Calin Ciabai, Games Editor

The European fans of the Naruto series will get the option to play the latest installment of the series starting this March. The only thing needed for Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2, developed by Namco Bandai, is a PlayStation 2 and, of course, the original game. Like all the games in the series, the game universe is populated by the anime characters from the TV show. Also, for the second installment of Uzumaki Chronicles, the developers have prepared two new characters for us as well as multiplayer co-op
mode.

The story of the game (and you probably know it already since the game has been released in the US) is about a new evil that threatens to take over the Hidden Leaf Village and the ninja clans. In order to do so, these evil spirits have to control a number of power orbs but, as always, they will have a problem accomplishing their plans since Naruto and his fellows will join forces with the Hidden Sand Village. And it will eventually be game over for them and great fun for us.

Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 comes with a new adventure inspired from the anime series, plus a co-op mode, multiple and fully customizable characters such as Naruto, Shikamaru, Rock Lee, Kakashi, Guy, Neji, Choji and more. The gameplay modes – Story, Head to Head, Mission and Survival come with 30 attack items to help the ninja in you (and your ninja partner, if you choose the co-op mode) win.

So, Namco Bandai's game will be distributed in Europe for the PS2 consoles by Atari starting this March and, until then, you have enough time to train some more, play the other games in the series or, if you're the lazy type, watch the anime series. But, in the end, you will see that nothing compares with a co-op game mode, where your life depends on your partner's choices.
