Publisher Bandai Namco has revealed the western release date for its manga-inspired fighting game Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, coming to Europe on September 12, and to North America on September 16.

Bandai Namco has made the reveal via a brand-new trailer, that urges fans of the popular manga / anime / video game to free up their calendars in September. The game features an extensive roster of 118 playable characters, among which Mecha Naruto, a warrior designed exclusively for this installment in the series.

Developer CyberConnect2 has also introduced some changes to the way fighting works, in an effort to steer the game toward more competitive venues, but at the same time striving to also keep it accessible to casual players who are more interested in the story than the actual fighting.

Bandai Namco has also announced that the PlayStation 3 demo for the game, scheduled to go live this week, and then delayed with no mention of when it would arrive, has become available on the PlayStation Network.

"UPDATE: The Naruto Storm Revolution Demo is now available on the PlayStation Network. Thanks for your patience," the company has posted on its Twitter account.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is coming to the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, on September 12 in Europe, and September 16 in North America.
