Developer CyberConnect2 and publisher Namco Bandai have offered the first playable demo for their upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 at the Japan Expo 2012 in Paris, allowing fans to see how the new game in the long-running franchise is shaping up.

Those who want to see Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 in action can go to Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, France until July 8.

Olivier Comte, the senior vice president of Marketing, Sales & Publishing at Namco Bandai, has stated, “Even though there are of course many, many fans in Japan, the Naruto games are also incredibly popular with European gamers, so we’re honoured and very pleased to be debuting the title at Japan Expo today.”

Hiroshi Matsuyama, the president of developer CyberConnect2, added, “After I tried my hardest to finish the Paris Marathon in April but just couldn’t make it, I feel like I owe something back to this amazing city.”

“So I’m very excited to be presenting the first ever hands-on of our newest Naruto game at Japan Expo today. It’s the perfect way to say thank you to the people of Paris and Europe for all their support!” he continued.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is designed to satisfy all the requirements of the very demanding fan base of the series and will deliver the bigger character roster ever, with gamers able to choose from their favorite fighter and then determine who they want to do battle with.

The game will feature a deep story mode that will be set in the village of Konoha, including a number of large scale boss battles, including a fight with the gargantuan Nine-Tails and a number of shinobi clans.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is set to arrive on the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft in 2013.
