If you are interested in the Naruto universe, you might do well to book a hotel and travel to Los Angeles as Tomy, the company in charge of the franchise, has announced that it plans to offer fans a change to play around with both Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 for the Nintendo Wii and Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 for the Nintendo DS at the Anime Expo, which is set to take place in the Los Angeles Convention Center July 2-5.

These are not the only videogames that Tomy is set to show off. Gamers will also be able to play Pangya: Fantasy Golf for the PlayStation Portable from Sony and another Naruto title, Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 for the Nintendo DS.

Mark Shinohara, the Chief Operation Officer of the Tomy Corporation, stated that “TOMY is pleased to make its debut at Anime Expo this year and offer fans an exclusive first chance to play our premier NARUTO fighting game titles for the Nintendo platforms. We are excited to see fan reactions and responses to our two new NARUTO Shippuden titles, as well as providing Anime Expo attendees with an exciting lineup of game demonstrations spanning multiple genres and platforms.”

Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 should arrive in the fall of 2009 and the developers are planning to offer better gameplay for the fighting game, more modes and multiplayer via the Wi-Fi connection. There are more than 30 characters that players can choose from and than 40 stages on which fights can take place.

Ninja Destiny 2, the DS title, will deliver a quest mode and 34 playable characters for an experience that might not look as good as the Wii game but offers new content for fans of the Naruto franchise.
