Naruto: Path of the Ninja is an adventure game, developed especially for the Nintendo DS by Aspect, and published by Tomy across a wide variety of regions and countries. The title is the first in the Path of the Ninja series, as it is known in North America and Europe. It was released in the United States on October 23, 2007, and enjoyed a lot of success thanks to the huge number of Naruto fans in the country.

The game is based on the extremely popular Naruto anime series, which is currently being transmitted across the world on various TV channels, including TV Tokyo and Cartoon Network.

It focuses on the main character of the franchise, that is to say Uzumaki Naruto, as he fulfills various missions with the help of his teammates or friends, against different enemies or antagonists, as the evil Akatsuki organization made up of rogue ninjas, for instance.

Naruto: Path of the Ninja has an impressive roster of characters, including fan favorites Hatake Kakashi, Sakura, Sasuke, Ino, Shikamaru, and Jiraiya. Furthermore, a variety of evil antagonists appear, including the likes of Orochimaru or Gaara of the Desert. The game has sold very well, a fact that confirmed the expectation of its developers, which have released another title under the name of Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2.

CHEATS

Konohamuru's codes
Successfully complete the game. Go to the top of the academy (the left branch). Talk to Konohamuru to get a menu with three options. Select the "Summon Sheet" option to enter the following codes. Assume the touch screen is divided into a 4x3 grid, numbered as follows (instead of using the "Summoning Sheet" from Shonen Jump magazine).

[5] [6] [7] [8];
[9] [10] [11] [12].

Then, quickly tap the indicated grid area. The numbers "1" through "4" will appear on the top screen to indicate that the first through fourth numbers have been detected. This is not the "grid" number, but simply confirms that your tap has been detected.

Rasengan jutsu: Tap grid areas 9, 2, 12, 7;
Rajin's sword: Tap grid areas 7, 6, 5, 11;
Fourth Hokage's sword: Tap grid areas 4, 7, 11, 5;
Play as Jiraiya: Tap grid areas 11, 3, 1, 6;
Fuji Fan weapon: Tap grid areas 8, 11, 2, 5.
