The best anime becomes a great fighting game

Naruto: Clash of Ninja (known in Japan as Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen) is

the first installment of the Gekitou Ninja Taisen (Clash of Ninja) series, which is based on the popular manga and anime series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. This is the very first 3-D Naruto game. You can select between different game modes such as One Player mode, Two Player Battle mode, Play Against Computer mode, Survival mode, Time Attack mode, Training mode and Story mode. You can unlock new features such as new characters, stages and modes by accomplishing certain tasks in the game (i.e. to unlock both Naruto Uzumaki and Kakashi Hatake's alternate forms, you must first play story mode to unlock Rock Lee, then beat one player mode with all players twice). The Story mode follows episodes 1-19 (to an extent) but the only character playable is Naruto Uzumaki, making the story a little twisted of how it's supposed to be.

Unlockables
Attack Power 4 - Get 1st place in Time Attack mode to unlock the 4th Attack Power

Max Difficulty
Difficulty 4 - Place 1st in Survival Mode.

Kyuubi Naruto - After you obtain Rock Lee, complete the game twice with every character in the 1-player mode. When you have done that, a message tells you to press the Z or X button during the character select screen (for all modes of play) when the cursor is over Naruto.

Rock Lee - To play as Rock Lee, complete the story mode up without continuing up to the fight with Zabuza. After defeating Zabuza, Rock Lee would challenge you. Defeat him and the story ends after another scene. You are now able to select him in the other modes

Sharingan Kakashi - Complete the game in 1 player mode after unlocking Kyuubi Naruto with Kakashi again. A message now tells you to press the Z or X button during the character select screen (for all modes of play) when the cursor is over Kakashi

Sound Test - Complete the game at least once with a character (minus secret characters) after obtaining all of their ninja files in single player to unlock the sound test. Sound test can be found in the light green menu ''omake'' (extras).
