Video game developer The Creative Assembly and publisher SEGA have announced the launch of two new pieces of downloadable content for their strategy title Napoleon: Total War, which will allow players to field a number of new units with special roles on the battlefield.

The Heroes of the Napoleonic Wars unit pack includes 10 new units, including the veteran British Hussars, the 1st East Prussian Grenadier Battalion, the Moscow Musketeers, which add both flavor to the campaign and new tactical options for those who use them.

The Imperial Eagle Pack is also launched, adding another 11 units to Napoleon, including Grand Battery of The Convention artillery, the HMS Elephant for Great Britain, the Archduke Ferdinand Cuirassiers and the Lifeguard Cossacks.

Napoleon: Total War was recently offered for free for one weekend on Steam and offers a solid strategy experience set in the early XIX century, for those who have no plans to move to Japan via Shogun 2: Total War.
