Following the 1998 incident, in which one of her personal maids pressed charges of assault and attack, that ended favorably for the supermodel (by paying an undisclosed sum of money and attending anger management classes), another trial is on the roll for Naomi and a new one pending.
Ana Scolavino and Campbell are currently appearing for hearings, after the first told the Manhattan's state Supreme Court that the excessively tempered model struck her in the head with a cell phone because she couldn't find a pair of jeans.
The injury was pretty severe and it took four stitches and a visit to ER. Apparently, Naomi was in a hurry to prepare herself for the Oprah Winfrey show and accused the maid of stealing the jeans. The model and her lawyers denied all accusations and claimed that it was all just a make-up story of the maid, concocted to get revenge for being previously fired.
Yesterday, another maid, Gaby Gibson, pressed charges for personal injuries, battery and civil assault. This example of the model's 'good manners' comes even before the other trial had finished. Gibson is asking for compensatory and punitive damages, but hasn't named a specific figure up to this point.
Campbell and her lawyers could not be found for comments.
If found guilty Naomi might spend the next seven years in jail and is liable for deportation from the UK.
