If you thought supermodels with severe anger management problems had long ceased to pose a danger to air traveling around the world, think again. The Blackberry-throwing hissy fit queen Naomi Campbell once again proved that she can't possibly be reasoned with, and that it will probably take a lot more than
professional anger management therapy and community service to curb her inclination for throwing herself at people. Campbell was pulled off a British Airways flight to Los Angeles yesterday for throwing a tantrum over one of her three carry-on bags which supposedly went missing. The disgraced beauty queen was taken off the flight and - once inside the BA first class lounge - she somehow managed to attack a cop before being taken into custody.
Campbell reportedly flew into a fit of rage and freaked out when she realized one of her three carry-on bags was allegedly missing. The staff told Naomi that they would locate her bag and forward it to her later on, and that was enough to send Naomi into a rage. In the ensuing scandal, she was deemed unfit to fly and taken off the plane. Once inside the first-class British Airways lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5, it was obvious that Campbell's notorious bad temper was still in full swing, so much that the police had to be called, and the tantrum queen was eventually led away and taken into custody on suspicion of assaulting a police officer. British tabloid The Sun reports that Campbell spit at the officer and had to be dragged away "ranting and raving."
Campbell has a well-documented history of tantrums and temper fits, in what has been deemed a "chronic abusive and repeatedly violent conduct toward her employees." She was charged with assaulting at least two of her assistants, one of which she beat over the head with a Blackberry personal organizer. She was also charged with assaulting a housekeeper, again hitting her with a jewel-encrusted mobile phone, and with punching an Italian actress, leaving her covered in blood at a hotel in Rome. Until now, however, Campbell hardly received any punishment for her abusive behavior. She reportedly took anger management classes - which obviously didn't help her in the slightest - and did some community service. Hopefully, the law won't be so lenient to her this time around.
