There were so many nanotechnology dedicated events this year that it just makes you wonder if this complicated process hasn't been overrated. The specialists say that this is the technology of the future and the analysts estimate that the dedicated market will go boom in a few years.
However, here is another specialized event that will take place on October 4th at the Spitzer Conference Center on the Lorain County Community College campus, Ohio - the 2nd Annual Nanotechnology Manufacturers' Forum, a one-day event designed to encourage collaboration between nanotechnology experts and traditional manufacturers, which has been organized by the Lorain County Manufacturing Council (LCMC).
As speakers for the forum are invited executives from companies and organizations leading the commercialization of nanotechnology. "This forum will allow traditional manufacturing companies an opportunity to learn how to incorporate nanotechnology into their manufacturing processes and gain a competitive edge in their industry," said Chris Mather, Executive Director of the Nano-Network and Vice President of NorTech.
More exactly, this forum will be one in a series of events scheduled for Nano Week 2006, a five-day debate on how nanotechnology is promising to change the world.
The Nanotechnology Manufacturers' Forum made its debut during Nano Week 2005. In 2006, the forum will continue to focus on how nanotechnology can help 'traditional manufacturers' develop more efficient ways to make and improve products through application of the nanotechnology.
"This forum presents an excellent learning opportunity for the manufacturer who wants to understand how nanotechnology can improve their business," said John Butkowski, President of the LCMC. He continued, "Our goal is to facilitate interaction between nanotechnology developers and companies that want to improve their businesses through the use of nanotechnology."
