For the second week on the current season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus trained hard for the quickstep. However, no amount of preparation could help the journalist prevent the wardrobe malfunction that aired live.

As the video below will confirm, the incident occurred towards the end of the dance, when Nancy’s energetic moves on the dancefloor made one of her breasts pop out of her low-cut, body-hugging gown.

Cameras immediately zoomed out into the audience so as to not document the embarrassing moment, but Grace was still left flustered, burying her head in her partner’s shoulder.

Still, she had just enough time to readjust her clothing and avoid further embarrassment. She also got to make light of the situation when host Tom Bergeron chimed in that, “On the European version that would be perfectly fine.”

The judges too were sensible enough as to overlook Grace’s mishap, focusing instead only on her dancing, which earned her 21 out of 30 possible points.

“How refreshing. That was a proper quickstep. Well done!” Len Goodman gushed, while Bruno Tonioli noted that “It was a bit top-heavy at times, my darling.”

Carrie Ann Inaba stuck to praising Grace for the improvements she was making with each dance.

Not the same can be said about Chaz Bono, the first-ever transgender contestant on DWTS: after winning over judges with his first dance last week, his quickstep drew comparisons of walking through the carwash because it was too pained and not quick enough.

Scoring only 17 points, Chaz landed at the bottom of the scoreboard because of the quickstep, of which he said it was stripped down of all fancy elements because of the pain in his articulations.

At the opposite end is Ricki Lake, who scored 23 out of 30 and was last night’s top performer.
