Nancy Drew Sucks at Being Sexy

Mystery, murder, drama and�sexy pics in the new Nancy Drew game? It looks so. Seems like the games' developer, HerInteractive, is trying to spice things up a little. Gaming site Kotaku recently posted a picture showing Miss Drew wearing a tight pink shirt. Are fashion trends getting in video games two? By the looks of it the answer is yes. Anyway, the developers of the Nancy Drew video game series want to get Nancy rid of that old maid image and decided to make her more attractive. Besides the pink tight shirt, she is also wearing some fashionable spectacles and a matching tie (looks like Nancy likes the "business type" outfit.). Maybe she should stick to solving mysteries and stop with the shopping sprees because from what that picture is showing, she lacks good taste. HerInteractive previously sent a trailer from a Nancy Drew video game to Kotaku but they made fun of it, laughing at the romance between Nancy and the Hardy Boys (who can blame them?). For those interested, I am ended to reveal that the latest game in the Nancy Drew series is called Dander by Design, and is based on the Nancy Drew book with the same name, written by Carolyn Keene. It was released for PCs on July 24 of 2006. Enjoy!

going by the fact that throughout all 17 of the nancy drew games we never actually see HER, the photo above is of one of the characters in the 14th nancy drew game. danger by design. this is heather, an up and coming designer studying in france. for heavens sake please get your facts right next time

Get your facts right!This photo is from the nancy drew game Danger by Design.This is not Nancy!This is Heather Mckay an assistant for a fashion designer in Paris named Minette.This photo was taken just as Minette is finishing up one of her 'temper tantrums' and heather comes out to talk to Nancy.Good Golly if your going to write anythingg else about Nancy on your site,GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!

that's not supposed to be nancy drew. that's another character in the game, which focuses on a design studio in Paris. do your research, dolt. also, for a gaming news editor, "Dander by Design" is an embarrassing error. the new nancy drew games aren't as clever as they used to be, but at least they still stand behind presenting nancy drew as the wholesome, brave role model she always has been without using cheap thrills like sexy outfits and high school drama.

um the games this picture is from and the one you are talking about is called DANGER BY DESIGN, not dander....and the picture is of a character in the plot that isnt nancy. is a girl she is working for.

If you played the games, you would know that that is not Nancy. In the games YOU are nancy so you (the player) never see her. This is a picture of Heather Mackay from the game called Danger By Design.

Dude, this IS NOT NANCY DREW. This is Heather McKay. Nancy is never shown in the games.

Idiots ! - The image you have displayed is not Nancy Drew. She is an assistant in the game. Whilst playing the game Nancy is never seen. This game where the image has come from is Nancy Drew - Danger by design. And Nancy never wears glasses. Don't bother saying anything unless you really know what you're talking about.
