Namco Networks, a well-known publisher and developer of mobile games, recently launched a new game concept under the name of 'Rolling with Katamari'. The concept is only new to mobile phones, as the game is based on two previous very popular titles which were only available for gaming consoles – Katamari Damacy and Beautiful Katamari.

The story might seem simple but it's quite crazy and quirky. The creator of Cosmos deliberately or not made all the stars from the sky disappear, by knocking them out, during a crazy night. You are playing the role of a pint-sized Prince who has to put the all the stars back in the sky.

You are to help the Prince create clusters of eclectic earthly objects beautiful enough to be able to launch into space to replace the stars, as these cannot be found anymore. Instead, stars are replaced with cockroaches, crabs and cars. Gamers will even be able to collect everything starting from hamburgers to the Eiffel Tower.

If you're getting bored by the cockroaches, don't worry as Namco is preparing some funny surprises for those buying the game. Starting this December, players will be able to download a new season-themed content pack to keep the gameplay fresh. The first pack will add some Christmas trees, Santa, carolers and dreidels.

The game features more than 30 levels and about five different game modes such as: Roll a Star, Roll a Color, Rock n Rolling Racing, Don’t Touch, and Roll an Object. The developer also boasts the original Katamari music, along with the King's kooky quips. While playing, you'll be able to find hidden presents, which can be rolled up and added to your catalog of presents. Last, but not least, players will be able to adjust the game's speed for a more challenging experience.
